Matt Linske is the Lead Microbiologist and Manager for Brewing and Distilling Analytical Services, LLC, where he hunts down microorganisms contaminating in-process and packaged products. Matt started with BDAS in 2012, playing a major role in the growth of the company, including a recent 2019 expansion to a second facility in Denver, CO. In addition to his work with BDAS, Matt was previously employed as Chief Science Officer with Ethereal Brewing Co. in Lexington, KY, where he established new sensory and microbiological quality control programs. Matt has been an active MBAA member since 2016, giving presentations at both the local and national levels. He recently earned the 2019 MBAA National Technical Conference People's Choice Award for Best Oral Presentation on Diastaticus yeast detection media.
