Special guest
Michiel Schreurs is a PhD student in flavor science at the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Microbiology. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in bioscience engineering, Michiel obtained a master of cellular and genetic engineering with a dissertation on the genetics of yeast longevity. He has now shifted his focus from yeast to beer, where he is trying to bridge the gap between analytical chemistry and sensory science with the help of machine learning.
