Martin Biendl

Martin Biendl joined the Hopsteiner team thirty years ago after receiving his PhD. in Organic Chemistry from Regensburg University in 1990. His research covers a wide range of hop-related products for brewing and beyond. He is a representative of the International Hops Industry Cooperation as part of the EBC Analysis Committee and, since 2001, chairman of the Hops Subcommittee. Alongside the numerous papers published in many international brewing journals, Dr. Biendl is the co-author of two science driven books based on hops, their cultivation, composition, and usage.
