Karen Stangl

In her 10th year in the beer quality industry, Karen currently manages a team at Two Roads that handles all things related to raw materials, chemistry, microbiology, packaging integrity, sensory, fermentation data, yeast health and food safety. She earned her B.A. in Science, followed by an M.S. in biology while studying phase-switch proteins in a dimorphic fungus. Karen has recently been appointed to the board of the American Society of Brewing Chemists as Publications Committee Chair, and volunteers for the New England District of the Master Brewers Association as well as the Brewers Association Mentoring programs.
