Joe Pawelek

Joe Pawelek is Brewmaster at Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, NC. He has been professionally brewing for 10 years, almost 8 of them at Wicked Weed. Joe oversees Innovation, Pub, and Crossbrew operations, and has a deep passion for hops and hop analysis. When he’s not talking about beer, he can be found smoking meat, playing guitar, and sharing dogsledding stories from his tenure in Alaska years ago. He lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains with his Wife, Erin, and Son, Jasper. They enjoy gardening, raising chickens, and spending as much time outside as possible!
