Eryn began his journey in beer when he decided to leave his career as a CNC machinist and go back to school to earn a BS in Food Science and Fermentation from Oregon State University. During his time at OSU, he interned and worked at breweries such as Deschutes Brewing, Pelican Brewing, Samuel Adams Boston Brewery as well as the Research Brewery at Oregon State. After graduation in 2013, he joined the Samuel Adams R&D team. Over the last 9 years, he has supported the development of multiple styles released on the National and Regional scale, commissioned key equipment, and now leads the R&D Brewing team in Boston.
