Bridget Gates

Born and raised in Yakima, Bridget joined Yakima Chief Hops in 2018 after a career in the psychiatric field focused on genetics. She began her journey with YCH in Inside Sales and, through deep involvement in the Selection program, gained valuable cross-functional experience that led to her current role as International Demand Planning & Selection Manager. Over her eight harvests thus far, Bridget has been involved in Selection and has managed the Selection Program for the last five years, playing a key role in expanding its reach and impact, serving brewers worldwide. Beyond the office, she’s passionate about changing perceptions of spiders and shares her home with over 40 pet tarantulas.
