Ann is the Quality Manager at Pizza Port Brewing. A long time beer enthusiast, Ann started her beer career as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis. There she studied metabolomics in fermented foods and collaborated on a publication that looked at the effects of dry hopping on the small molecules in beer. From UC Davis, Ann joined Pizza Port to build their quality program and laboratory, and now manages all things scientific in the brewery. Ann received her B.S. from UC Berkeley in 2005 and completed her Ph.D. at UC Santa Cruz in 2012.
